Kirk's Backyard BBQ Ribs

2 racks of pork ribs

1 cup Tomato Ketchup
2 cubes real butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. smoke flavor
salt and pepper
1 clove garlic (chopped fine)

Cut racks in half and place in a large pan of simmering water (not boiling) for 15 minutes. (Important -- no more than 15 min.). Remove and set aside until ready to barbecue.

Combine all sauce ingredients into a pan and heat on medium until butter melted, stir well often.

Place ribs on grill and frequently brush with sauce. Turn ribs often brushing with sauce.  Continue until ribs are darkened on edges.
