39. Mac Donald Family
       
           Of ancient Scottish lineage the family descends through the Chiefs of the Mac Donald Clan to the Twelfth Chief, Alexander Mac Donald, born 1612, died Feb. 14, 1692 Glenco, Argyll, Scotland.  His son was the progenitor in America.

      BRYAN MAC DONALD, born 1645 Glenco, Argyll, Scotland died Feb. 23, 1707 New Castle, New Castle Co., DL, married 1677 Mary Doyle Combs, born 1649 Kepoch, Ivern, Scotland.
