20. Edson Family
      The son of Thomas Edson and Elizabeth Copson of Warwickshire, England.
           Samuel Edson, was baptized Sep. 5, 1613 at Fillougley, Warwickshire, died Jul. 9, 1692, married in Warwickshire 1638, Susanna Orcutt, born 1618, died Feb. 20, 1699. 
           They arrived,  in America in July 1638 and settled in Salem, Essex Co., MA and later moved to Bridgewater, Plymouth Co.  He was Deacon in West Parish, Bridgewater and in 1676 a Representative.

        Josiah, born 1651 Duxbury, married Elizabeth Dean
        Bethial, born 1653, married Ezra Dean

      SARAH EDSON, born 1641, died Feb. 18, 1717, married Nov. 7, 1663, John Dean Jr. of Taunton, born 1639 and said to be the first English child born there, died Jul. 9, 1692.
